John Bair

John has over 20 years experience building information management systems and is an inventor on 6 data management patents.
John worked as an HP Distinguished Technologist for Hewlett Packard Company from late 2006 to 2008. As the Chief Technologist for the Consulting & Integration IM Practice, he focuses on strategy, implementation and innovation using business intelligence, data integration, data warehousing and information quality technologies to manage and leverage information as an asset.
John previously worked as Senior Principal and CTO West for Knightsbridge Solutions, which HP acquired in 2006. At Knightsbridge, John worked as chief architect on enterprise data integration, data warehousing and business intelligence implementations for Fortune 200 financial services, health care, retail and high tech industries. As CTO, John’s responsibilities included technology strategy, methodology and implementation best practices for enterprise business intelligence, master data management and information management programs.
John joined Knightsbridge from Amazon.com, where from 1999 to 2002, as Principal Engineer and Data Warehouse Architect, he created high performance scalable e-commerce business intelligence systems and information services.
In 1995, John co-founded Leep Technology Inc., a developer of data mining, customer relationship management and data warehouse software. Leep Technology was acquired by Amazon.com in 1999.
